Mountain Muse came about in the process of planning our own wedding in a remote ghost town in the Chihuahua desert. Caterers, bartenders, and florists weren’t going to travel this far off the beaten path, so we were left to our own creativity and determination in planning our dream wedding. When the celebration was over, we didn’t want to stop planning. The process of working out the details that make an event stand out became a passion that we wanted to share with others.
Mountain Muse started as a mobile bar, the Starlight Saloon. We wanted to bring celebrations to the outdoors, wherever our truck could take us. With our professional bartending experience and an adorable design, it was a big hit! Our offerings continued to grow, with carefully collected and crafted lounge spaces, rentals and whatever specialized decor our clients could dream up. The best part of running this business is working with our clients to find and create their own unique aesthetic.
Like all facets of society, weddings of the future must let go of a complacency with waste. Mountain Muse is dedicated to careful collection, curation, and creation. Our model is based on the reuse and the upcycling of beautiful relics rather than the factory to landfill system.
